David Houle has been a contributor to Oprah.com over the last two months, discussing the future of this wild universe. This time, he tackles the future of education in America. Women are getting educated and entering prominent management roles slowly and surely. Men are getting less educated and leaving management roles slowly and surely. The country is also going through voluminous transformations in key industries. How does this affect the future of gender relations? Gender roles? Nuclear family structure, eradicated after the feminist revolution of the 1960s and 70s, is shifting again into uncomfortable roles. David Houle speaks about it here:

Wireless devices have changed our lives. From mobile phones to Kindle e-book readers, they all have integrated wireless and are shaping the way we consume information, interact, communicate and in general experience life. Soon, smartphones and wireless devices will enter a new frontier… they will enable us to find crucial information about our health through various applications and methods and we’ll soon use our smartphones to monitor our vital signs and chronic conditions. This idea was shared from the well known cardiologist Eric Topol at his presentation on the prestigious TEDMED conference.

Dr. Topol further explains that this idea can become a reality very soon because people have become aware of the technology and are now willing, more then ever, to accept innovations… Plus there are about 4 billion cell phone users in the world.

Take a look at this jaw-dropping presentation:
